The Wahlgrens!
We would like to introduce Carla Cox who will be serving at Table as food service director and facilities host. Her love for the Creator and His creation has had her serving in camp ministry for 7 years. Carla's desire is to see this next generation have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite verses is Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart." I am excited that God has opened the door for me to serve through Food, Fun & Fellowship at Table in the Wilderness to further His Kingdon.
As Program Manager, Matt is our go-to guy for activities and adventure.Matt, his wife Amanda and son Samuel are an asset to our family. Matt serves because of Matthew 22:37-40 (Message paraphrase), which says, “Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”
We are always seeking people with a heart for ministry!
Carla Cox!
The Smiths!
The Gribbles!
Director Dan Wahlgren and his wife Sandra founded Table in the Wilderness in 1995 to share Christ with students through serving them the way Jesus served those around Him. “We truly believe that caring for students in this way opens the door to ministry and relationships with those we are blessed to serve. We continue to see God change the hearts of those who come here and we are thankful to be a part of what God is doing here.”
Meet our staff and their families. Check out their different blogs, facebooks or twitter accounts to know them more and see why God has called them to do what they do. Look below for current openings, as we are always looking for new members to our family.

The Johnsons
Waldo Smith joined the staff at Table in the Wilderness on Jan. 1, 2011 as Financial Officer. He brings 27 years of banking experience to the ministry along with a heart for service. A key verse in Waldo and his families’ decision to step out in faith was Isaiah 6:8: Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (NLT). Most of Waldo’s work will be behind the scenes but he looks forward to helping minister to visitors at TWM. Waldo is joined in Laramie by his wife Melanie. They have three daughters, Shannon, Allison and Caitlin.

Hi! I'm Craig R. Johnson, the newest addition to the TWM staff. I'll be serving in a variety of capacities but will be primarily employed to develop and enhance ministry to adult men.
Louise and I are passionate about outdoors activities, enjoying big game hunting, fly-fishing, hiking, canoeing, motorcycling and other activities but our primary desire and life’s purpose is to facilitate the introduction of lost people to Jesus Christ and discipleship of believers in the forum and venue of God’s Creation.
